February NCLEX Test Takers....

Published

Hello everyone....

I just received my ATT to test today... I am scheduled to take the NCLEX on February 8, 2010 which is about 3weeks.... I would like for anyone who is scheduled to take NCLEX in the month of February to share their stories and stradigies for preparing for NCLEX exam..... We can accomplish this together...

I am using NCLEX 3500. the Saunders CD & textbook as my resources.... I do 150 question in test mode each day... I use my school's library as my focal point for studying because being at home for me JUST DONT WORK:eek:. I love it because my schools' library has open access to alumunae graduates.... I know this may sound korny but I can't wait to take it... I know we can ALL do this together...

WE MUST STAY CALM, CONFIDENT, FOCUS, & POSITIVE on this journey to becoming an official RN:nurse:

Took mine this morning and did the trick and got the good pop up so I hope it's right! Let ya know tomorrow. Goodluck to the rest of you! :heartbeat

what is the trick?

Liz we took the test the same day, so how did you get your results so early? In NY we have to wait 48 hours. I got the "good" pop up on pearson vue as well! Fingers crossed! Type in pearson vue at the search button and there is a thread with over 7000 responses about the trick. It tells you how to do it.!

Ya just look at the thread about the "pearson vue trick" it tells you what to do.

took my nclex today at 1130. finished in about 1.5 hours. shut off at 75 questions. nothing like i expected- but in all honesty, i didn't know what to expect - Kaplan type questions or Exam Cram or Saunders??? It was NOTHING like KAPLAN!!! anyways... i 'll rant later after i CONFIRM that i made it through the beastly thing called NCLEX. i rushed home - tried the pvue trick and got the pop-up so i'm hoping and praying to god that i passed.

Took the exam February 22, 2010 and found out 15 min ago that I PASSED!!!! Pearson vue trick worked for me! I had 4 math calculations and read somewhere that that was not a good thing! Well if you read that DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!! PEOPLE MAKE UP STUFF!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !!!:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::nurse:

:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

How does it feel to be an RN?

It feels GREAT! :lol2:However there are no jobs in the NYC area sooooo... It will still be a struggle!

Sunshine, in OH our results post in 24 hours online. We're lucky.

To everyone else, the "trick" worked for me. I agree with Sunshine, don't let anyone tell you that the questions you got are a "bad" sign or anything like that. YOU CANNOT TELL IF YOU PASS OR FAIL when you walk out of there, no matter how many questions or what types of questions you get. I had 2 med math and thought for sure I was doing horribly and getting "easy" questions. NOT TRUE. I passed in 75.

But I'm so glad it is done!! :nurse:

I took my test yesterday it was scheduled for 12noon and I got there at 10am. They let me take the test at 11. Got 75 questions finished at 12:08 exactly.I dont have my results yet. I am freaking out like everyone else. I had about 10 multiple answer choices, 3 questions that i had to put in order for performing certain procedures, about 25% of my test was on meds, not med calc but actual medications that I have never heard off and had to know what they were for. I know lots of meds but leave it to the test to give me some meds I have never seen before. I took kaplan and I think the test looks closest to kaplan. I saw some of the material I studied in the kaplan book on there. I tried the trick and it told me I couldn't register. I am less anxious from trying the trick but now the long wait. I have to be the millionth person to ask. Does the trick work? praying

Omg i passed!!! I passed!!! I passed!!!!
