hi anyone here planning to take nclex rn? lets share tips in studying, fact throwing..
hope this helps...:loveya:
i have rescheduled my exam on march 3, i just felt that i am not ready for the 20th month of feb. my friend failed the exam so i got scared.and lots of questions on infection control, prio and delegation.
post has been edited. anything that is on the nclex exam is not to be discussed here and that is per the board that handles the exam. it is grounds for actually having results cancelled out by them.
posting a question and its choices is most definitely not permitted. other issue is that your friend signed a document before she even started the exam stating that she would not discuss specifics of what was on her exam.
exam questions rotate thru all of the time, there is a test bank of 2500 questions, your chances of getting any of them are quite slim that she had.

im sorry suzzane... yeah the question i posted is not actually the actual nclex question. what i was trying to disseminate to the reader was that the exam has blood compatibility type of questions which have been made a little complicated like including the rh type in it. that's the common ground that i wanted to establish in addition to other source of questions.

I just took the bords yesterday. Boy was that a trip!
Anyhoo, I meant to reply to the MONA part, the order by the way, must be O2 first (remember ABCs) then ASA 2nd followed by nitro and then MorphSulfate as this also takes care of anxiety. Remember OMI - oxygen, monitor (heart monitor) & IV (for rescusitation meds) If you haven't taken ACLS yet, the algorithms give a great overview of these things but MONA & OMI are good things to keep in mind. Hope this helps, good luck to you!
i recommend using the cdc as your source for infection control.

hi mimay, regarding the MONA..its peebles who wrote that, off course abcs, but i think just make it easy to remember so he/she put that way..thanks for reminding ..what state u take? how's your exam?
here's a prayer.. u guys can recite before taking your test. =)
Dear Jesus, today I will have my examination.
You know how important this is to me.
So I am humbly asking YOUR gracious help and divine assistance.
I pray to YOU, my dear JESUS, please never let me panic nor get nervous, just let me be at ease and give my very best.
Please never let me guess nor rely on pure luck, but enlighten my mind and let me think clearly.
Please never let me resort to chances nor to dishonesty, but let me work to the fullest of my ability.
I pray for YOUR guidance that as I think, I may find the right interventions, I may be able to correctly answer the innovative questions, I may solve those difficult calculations.
I ask, Oh LORD, YOUR intercession, that as I click and encode, I may not be careless nor overconfident,I may not be distracted but be more concentrated,I may not be in a hurry nor take the exams too lightly.
Today, Oh my JESUS, I will take my examination.
Let me, with YOUR help, give my best effort.
Let me, because of YOU, receive the best and fruitful result.
AMEN.
Really everything else says its droplet including the qbank as a rationale
RSV necessitates droplet precautions according to the Qbank of Kaplan. In connection, Saunders Compre Review for NCLEX RN, 4th ed, page 459, stated that "Respiratory Synctial Virus, although not airborne, is higly communicable and is usually transferred by DIRECT CONTACT with respiratory secretions."
Thus, it requires contact precaution. Correct me if I misunderstood the information.
Thanks.
