Suzzanes plan is free, you just have to buy the saunders book thats it. then you PM her when you are done with the first tip

for the random fact throwing:

- Impetigo, Scarlet Fever, Rheumatic Fever have similar agents, which is the group A beta hemolytic streptococci

- For glomerulonephritis related to peds: check for history of pharyngitis or tonsillitis

- For RSV, it's not transferred airbone. rather, it's droplet precaution.

- For Guillian Barre syndrom, check patient history (1 to 4 wks prior) for mild upper respiratory infection or gastroenteritis.

- For ALS, it's a motor dysfunction. not a sensory dysfunction. check for clumsiness for early s/s.

Awesome. I have the Saunders 4th edition. I have been using the disk as well as doing the first tip. Thanks for the info

- Lindane when given to children ages 2 to 10 may cause seizures.

- Demerol when given to children for sickle cell crisis especially during vaso-occlussive crisis, may cause seizures, too.

Lyme Dse- just pick the answer with "Connecticut"

St. John's Wort herbal med for depression

where can I buy the Kplan Q bank? is it from the CD in Kplan review book? or I have to actually take the Kplan course? Im using Saunder 3rd and just wonder if the questions are too easy to prepare for Nclex...thankyou! this forum is awesome!

If taking the RN then I would suggest using the 4th edition of Saunders as that will also have new style format questions. Many many people have passed just using Saunders, all depends on what your study style is but don't get too many review books as it can get confusing

In regards to Saunders, I, too, am scared that the questionings are easier than the actual Nclex. I heard that Kaplan is more similar to Nclex than Saunders.

this is really helpful..keep it upand goodluck to those who will be taking..

Just took my test this morning, it shut off at around 80 questions. Not feeling very positive. I had a LOT of med questions which is my weakness. It's out of my hands now. :o

Thanks for the info! I already have the Saunder's book and I'm going over Suzanne's first tip...

I learned a few new tips form the Saunder's book.
