hi anyone here planning to take nclex rn? lets share tips in studying, fact throwing..

hope this helps...:loveya:

Hi... I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX on the first week of April 2009. I'm just starting to prepare for the exam. I only have the 3rd ed of Saunders. Will that be ok? Hope you can give me some tips on how to study as well as the materials that I can use. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to all!!!

The fourth edition is better but that one is sufficient. A friend of mine used that edition and she passed. :)

I am still studying now so I don't have much tips except to trust in the Lord with your review. :heartbeat

Will post again here after my exam. If I pass, I'll give some suggestions of the things that worked for me.

God is in control :)

Hope you can give me some tips on how to study as well as the materials that I can use.

This thread might be helpful :)

Just don't mind the title. It's for everyone, not just for Filipino nurses like me. It's for those who are doing a self-review :)

Good day Jheenee!

Thanks a lot for sharing some tips and websites... Much appreciated... Goodluck to all of us!!!

I'm going to retake mine in March, hopefully. Going to follow Suzanne's plan! Has anyone here done it?

Wow! Hmmm.... I'll be taking the NCLEX RN too this month of feb last week or 1st week of march. I'm using Kaplan's NCLEX RN Q bank. I only get 60% higher but below 70%. Unlike in Saunders, I get 70 to 90%.

The sharing really helps.

Is there a difference in books? I do about 70-80% on the Saunders disk. I am starting Suzanne's plan this week. Can't wait to see how it is.

well, with saunders, the type of question presented is more objective unllike Kaplan wherein critical thinking and discrimination on the answers are sought. Its like u can answer the questions in saunder with ur nursing knowledge received in school but with the kaplan, u have to analyze each question.

This is very interesting. I am happy to be part of this forum. i will be retaking nclex RN in march. i will also try suzanne plan. DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS PLAN BEFORE IT IS OVER. IF SO HOW MUCH SO THAT I CAN START SAVING SOME MONEY TOWARD THAT. CAN SOMEBODY WHO HAVE TAKEN SUZANNE PLAN ANSWER MY QUESTION. I AM STILL ON THE FIRST TIP

Very interesting. WE WILL STUDY TOGETHER. And we shall all pass together. i will be taking in march
