Is it too early to start a thread like this? LOL

I'll be finishing up my pre-requisites this fall, and then applying in the spring for the Summer 2010 session. I still need to study for the NAT and actually take the exam and take a CPR course. I'm considering getting my CNA and trying to find work in healthcare to get my foot in the door.

I am so nervous about the whole process, nervous about whether I should try to work and go to school, and especially nervous if this is something I can handle. I am afraid of all the responsibility.

Anyone else planning for next Summer? What is your process looking like, what are your thoughts/feelings?

Can you try using a different browser? Like Firefox if you're using Internet Explorer, etc...? Or a different computer? It worked for me. There were a lot of random things you had to do though- like print a .pdf file and fax it to them, which I guess I'll have to fax tomorrow.

So I check my e-mail, just for grins as I have not received any new e-mails on my FSCJ since last week. How ever this time it looks a little different, I have two new e-mails!!! Only neither one was from the nursing dept. :uhoh3: It seems that since I have not received anything, except from instructors, all semester long, the school picked this opportune moment to invite the students to a townhall with the governor. Continuing to keep my fingers crossed.

I am officially a nervous wreck. I am not even planning to apply until June, and I already can't sleep. Congrats to all of y'all who have gotten accepted for Summer!!!

I didnt have to print anything out and fax it to anybody. All I printed out was the bar code receipt thing ant the end to bring to the UPS store and mail with my other stuff.

It wasn't the fingerprinting form, it was the background check website. Part B of the few steps we need to do. I didn't mean to be confusing- I think it all blurred together for me- it was late last night! :)

I went this morning to Northside Medical Clinic this morning to do the drug screen, physical, and titers. I arrived about 8:30am and was out by 9:30am.

They handed me back a copy of the drug screen in an envelope and said to give it to the school. Anyone know if we should just include that in the packet we turn in on 3/19 or do we physically have to give it to a particular person?

I am wondering if (WHEN) I get in, will I need to track down all my shot records or does FSCJ already have them from when I enrolled god knows how many years ago...

Titers replace the need for a shot record. If you are immune, you are good to go. If not, you will need to get boosters.

hey. werent you the one I saw today? You got done fast

I got the same thing and it took a while. I Arrived at 9:10. Left at around 11:45.

They had to poke me in 3 places just to get blood.

The most wait was just waiting for the doctor for the physical. I was in the patient room for like 30 minutes

Any new acceptance letters today?

My mailman has already come and gone, no package for me today... :crying2: I think i am just going to stop looking every 5 mins until Tuesday at least... I'm starting to think maybe the lower point total was not accurate. Perhaps AMD miscalculated and their points were higher then she thought. I have yet to see any other acceptance posts below 200 this round.
