  1. KUDOS to you!! Congratulations on joining the fold...now the real learning begins :-) I wish you nothing but the best!
  2. From what I heard, the test is composed of 50 multiple choice questions.
  3. I really have no idea if they are still planning on having the N/W option for Spring 2011, but that is what I was told. Whether or not the school actually DOES have the option during that term is strictly up to them (and able to change at any time...there, that's my disclaimer) :)
  4. Thank you for the words of encouragement! I'm sure I'm not the only one who is mildly freaking out right now (okay, maybe "mildly" is not the right word...how about MAJORLY), so just knowing that the Term 1 work load is doable is a big help. Good luck in your continued journey to becoming a nurse! :)
  5. Just make a copy of your CPR card, and retain the original card for yourself. I made a front and back copy of my card to turn in to the school. As far as the transcript, I believe it couldn't hurt for you to bring a copy. Better safe than sorry.
  6. Hi there, and congratulations on your acceptance! I, too, and a N/W person, so I guess we will be getting to know each other well! To answer your question, yes, the degree audit is that Monday (30th) from 1:30 - 2:30pm. Then we have to be back at the campus for our first class at 6:00pm (instead of the first tests like in previous terms). Congratulations to everyone who recently got a call to join our merry bunch!!!
  7. Let me put it to you this way...I got one heck of a workout setting up the camera, run to the wall, take the picture, run back to the camera, delete the horrible picture, reset the camera, run back to the wall, take the picture, run back to the camera, delete the horrible picture, reset the camera, run back to the wall....you get the idea.
  8. That's so funny...I did the same exact thing!!!
  9. My pleasure, Natalie. Like I said before, us nurses need to stick together :redpinkhe
  10. Nevermind, I registered one class at a time instead of all of them at once. Worked like a charm.
  11. I am definitely having issues registering for classes. None of my reference numbers show up as available classes. Any one else seeing this too?
  12. Melissa, it was great to finally meet you in person as well! And I'm sure we will have clinicals together in the future. Till then, we will keep each other on track during class
  13. They gave absolutely NO REASON whatsoever! I was completely shocked when they kept saying we would have class on 8/30 (first day of school) and have the first set of tests on 9/13. I kept waiting for someone to say "JUST KIDDING!", but it never came.
  14. So, was anyone else surprised when they announced we DIDN'T have the tests the first day of class? Honestly, I didn't even believe them until I actually saw it in writing from Miss E's emails. I feel like I kind of have two weeks of my life back
  15. whenever i feel overwhelmed, i think about a saying i heard once from a wise person... "how do you eat an elephant?...one bite at a time!" nursing school is your elephant now, but if you can tackle it bit by bit, you'll get through it!!! believe in yourself, and you can accomplish anything :redbeathe
