Is it too early to start a thread like this? LOL
I'll be finishing up my pre-requisites this fall, and then applying in the spring for the Summer 2010 session. I still need to study for the NAT and actually take the exam and take a CPR course. I'm considering getting my CNA and trying to find work in healthcare to get my foot in the door.
I am so nervous about the whole process, nervous about whether I should try to work and go to school, and especially nervous if this is something I can handle. I am afraid of all the responsibility.
Anyone else planning for next Summer? What is your process looking like, what are your thoughts/feelings?
Okay... My application is officially in the mail!
I'm wondering if there is any way that I can get verification that they received it. I would hate for something to happen and it get lost and they don't get my application... okay... now I'm paniking and wondering if I should have hand delivered it... but then I wouldn't be sure if the receptionist would have put it in the right hands... or what if someone would accidently pick it up thinking it was their mail... UGH!!!
Well, I said a quick prayer over it before I sent it so, its in God's hands now... His will be done :)

good luck
how many points did you apply with?
Im probably gonna send my application next week. Still have to take my NAT tomorrow.
I want to hand deliver mine, but i dont really wanna drive to North Campus, lol.
ljonm, I'm taking the NAT next Friday... horrified I won't have enough points without micro to get in this summer. I've never taken the NAT, but took the TEAS and did well. I figure if I don't get in, I'll have time to retake the NAT in 90 days, get my micro points from this semester, and reapply for fall. This process is so stressful!!
I'm also interested to know how many points people are applying with. I wonder if the cutoff will be much higher for summer since there are less seats? Or do less people apply for summer term so will it be a wash? So many things to obsess over!!
Good luck to everyone!!
Im taking mine tomorrow and Im scared too.
I posted on another topic that my friend took the NAT today and didnt do too well and now Im scared.
He said the main problem was with the time they gave you wasnt that much. 40 minutes to finish 90 questions for the academic aptitude and like 20 minutes to finish 40 questions and 4 passages for the reading.
He says the science questions were easy and stuff you should know already.

I was told it was the best from each section. I'll be using 2 scores from my most recent NAT exam and one from my first NAT. The lady at North campus said to just attach both pages of results to my application.
But I haven't done it yet so maybe someone who has could answer this one...
