FCCJ Spring 2008

Published

I guess all of you are going thru the same feelings I am right now. I have turned in my application at FCCJ for the 2008 spring term and it is killing me. The more I read on here the more frightened I get. This is my first time applying and I am so nervous!!! Any words of advice to get me thru this???

did you order your uniforms by the size you wear? I thought the sizes and measurements didn't match... I'm having a hard time deciding what to order: I just had a baby, so I plan on losing weight over the next few months or longer. I don't want to order some pants but have them be too big if I continue to lose my "baby weight"

I ordered according to what they recommended on their site. The tops are designed to cover your entire torso area and just show leg (no stomach). Don't know if this helps. I found the size chart a little off from what I usually would purchase, but I went with their suggestions anyways. Like I said, the pants were cutting it a little close for me, but all the same, everything fits.

so did you choose according to your current size or your measurements?

sorry for so may questions: it's just for me they are 2 diff. sizes, based on which one I go by. I'd like to know which seems to be more accurate

I got my pants and they were a little tight.. I returned them for the next size because I'm not really sure what we'll be doing in them and would rather be comfy...

I used my measurements and should have used the sizing chart

(ie size 4-6 XS). Everything is too big. I have to send the tops and

pants back. Ironically, the lab coat fits. BTW... I fit into 3 categories of measurement.

My measurements are nothing I particularly care to check out or remember, so I just went off of their charts. Based on what I said and what another poster has said, I guess I would imagine that their pants may run a bit smaller than what their charts say, but otherwise, I think their charts are fairly accurate.

Boy, do I know this feeling all too well!!!

I don't think i'll ever completely get my pre-baby body back! :bluecry1:

(but that doesn't stop me from trying!):pumpiron:

Oh darn....The website says that the sizes run large, so that is how I determined what to order. If they run small, I may be in trouble- the size I ordered, if the larger number runs small, it won't fit. Oh well. I guess there is time to swap out if needed.

So do they ship when you order or do they wait until the term begins?

They sent mine within just a couple of weeks after ordering; the tops on me are a smidge bigger than I would like, but it's not enough to return them. It's the pants that definitely don't run big. I would have guessed I'd be ordering a medium or a large in pants, but I ordered a small according to their charts. They do fit, but no extra room to gain weight. The tops and lab coat are okay, and the lab coat fits best of all.

Which pants are running small- elastic or drawstring?

The drawstring ran small for me..

Isn't that crazy since there was a big, bold statement across thier page stating that the drawstring's ran very big for females???
