    FCCJ B.S.N Approved!

This is true. I'm a first term RN student, and the BSN is an RN to BSN bridge with priority given to FCCJ grads. You have to have 2000 hours (one year of FT work) before getting in.

They always say that. I'm a term one student and got my letter about 3 weeks after the due date. Good Luck!!!

    FCCJ Course Schedule

Maybe FCCJ is switching to the TEAS? YOu may want to look into it just to double check, but I'm a first term nursing student and needed that NAT

    FCCJ Course Schedule

FCCJ does not require it. Just the NAT.

    FCCJ Course Schedule

I think the summer schedule is posted in march.
  9. I, personally, would be very concerned about the low nclex scores. i realize that one can study independently, but i would have to wonder how thoroughly they are teaching their student nurses...not so much so that i can pass the exam, but how prepared i am to provide good, safe care to patients. JMHO.

    FCCJ Summer '08

Hello. I just got in to the program myself, starting nights & weekends in January. The cutoff is usually 181 to 183 points, so you are close. It's a good idea to re-take the NAT, just to be on the safe side. Just know that you have to wait 90 days to retake it and can only take it twice per year. It is the exact same test the second time around and the questions are in the exact same order. GL. You should be fine, though.

    Jobs for students???

you may want to check into tech positions. i know a few folks who did that before they started NS just to see if they would like the field. GL.

    FCCJ nights/weekends 2008

kertz81~ I just thought of a question. Since you work full-time and I'm at home with littles all day, I imagine that neither of us will do/did a lot of studying during the daytime hours. So, if you work during the day, and are in school nights & weekends, during what hours do you study? Before work? after school/clinicals? And, how many hours per week do you spend studying outside of class? Thanks so much.

Thank you Kertz. That was really helpful. I, for one, am getting nervous about juggling everything that I'mgoing to have to do. I appreciate the advice and information.
