  1. I received my uniform today that I sent back to get the next size down.... The pants fit perfect (elastic) but now the top is too small. I'm concerned that it is too tight in the shoulders to move around. Let me know if anyone out there is interested in an exchange. I have the 2 extra small tops and could use a small.
  2. I used my measurements and should have used the sizing chart (ie size 4-6 XS). Everything is too big. I have to send the tops and pants back. Ironically, the lab coat fits. BTW... I fit into 3 categories of measurement.
  3. I have completed all of my forms and they are ready to be sent to FCCJ. I can't seem to find where or whose attention to send them to. I guess just nursing dept. Any know?? I hate to send my confidential information over without being sure.
  4. Hey! I'm nights/weekends too. It looks like most of us have families here. My son is 2 years old and daughter is 3 months. I can't wait to get started!
  5. Thanks for the tip. I'm kind of a visual learner and this could definately help me. I used to look for programs on Discovery Channel when I was in Anatomy class to help me understand certain concepts. How is first term going for you?

  7. Hey guys! I"m nights and weekends too. I'm nervous about starting the program too. I have a 3 1/2 month old and a 2 year old(non-napper). I'm looking forward to meeting you all as well. Does anyone know if our classes are at Deerwood? I sure hope so.
  8. I'm having the same issue. I'm all over the board for the uniform size. I'm a Lg, XS, & Medium. What does that make me?? A Medium!:trout: Anyone else know...
  9. :balloons:Hey everyone! The letters are out! I got mine today in the mail. I applied for the nights/weekends with a 185/186 and got it. I'm so excited, I was really sweating it!! Everyone else with 190's and 200's ...YOUR In There!!! Can't wait to meet you all!:monkeydance:
  10. AGL384... Thanks for the encouragement. I'm thrilled to hear that FCCJ has the night/weekend classes at Deerwood. I think that the communication with North Campus is not good and it's quite a drive for me. It's amazing how a couple of classes I took years ago made the difference in my total points. I'm still not giving up. I am currently a stay at home mom with a 2year old and 2 month old. That could have been why my NAT score wasn't so hot. I took it 9 months pregnant. Anyway.... I think good professors make the difference and I'm looking into that now. I had a pretty bad Micro professor and I'm still a little bent out of shape about it. If I had an A in her class rather than a B I wouldn't be sweating it right now. Those 4 points can make a difference. I'll hold my breath until Nov.
  11. Hey Guy! I'm applying for the nights/weekends (only 24 seats) program with only about 185/186 points. I hope to be getting in too! I submitted my application Aug 1st. It's such a long time to wait.
  12. Thank you! Congrats again to you! You must be thrilled. Are you going for the day or nights/weekend program?
  13. Awesome!!! I took the NAT today and didn't feel great about it. I'm 38 weeks pregnant..... that might have something to do with it. I'm applying for the Spring 2008 term and wasn't sure if my total points were going to be suffient. I'm sitting on 185-186. I'm cutting it close. Glad to see your points got you in.
  14. JQuezadaS4- Can I ask you what your number calculates to be(not percentage) for the NAT. I think I will probably be in the same position with my testing. Average or somewhere around there. I'm just trying to get an idea of what that will give me as a total score to get into the program. I have 108-111 points for grades and am trying to figure out what an average NAT number looks like. Appreciate any help. : )
  15. Wow! You scored really well. I have done well in my classes up until about now. I should have paid closer attention to the warnings about Dr. Yurko on rateyourprofessor.com. I couldn't wait to take micro with Dr. Fair in the Spring. I just had her for Chemistry and think she is awesome. I guess I was trying to figure out what kind of score (NAT) that I would need to get me into the program. I see the grades are worth 120 points and the NAT is worth 120 points as well. I think I may be worrying to much and just need to go take the darn test. Thanks for the explanation on the scoring.
