Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.
I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.
I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!
I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!
I signed up for my classes and I noticed that my times were off on my Health Assessment. It went from Weds 9am-12pm to Weds 6pm-9pm. I called the nursing office and she told me to drop my clesses and re-add them after 4pm because they still want to get all the glitches out. Any other sections have a problem like this?
Hey guys! With all the glitches I think I am going to wait until this afternoon to register. For those of you that have registered though....We can wait to pay on the 14th right? I have not heard back from Worksource yet and want to register but not if I have to pay right away cause(obviously) I don't have the money.

Ok now I'm registered! Yay!! Now all I have to do is buy, buy, buy..Hopefully I hear from worksource soon. All my pell info is up on Artemis. I think I'm gonna call r email the guy to tell hi. Can't hurt. Hope everyone is having a good day!
Okay..you guys..How can I find the handbook?? Navywifem: The BB Community to North Campus only brings you to the nursing tutor and nursing orientation. I looked inside both of those and can't find it. I hope we get the e-mail soon. Did everyone get the first one that Ms. Emily sent to us??

It's funny that you say that because my maiden name starts with "W" and when I do get married it will change to "V". My sister is mad at me for that because we also had a pact to move up the alphabet to at least "M" as well!!

I thought it would be in the communities. I haven't gotten that email, just the this is a test run email. I did print off all of the independent study stuff and then I broke out in hives! I guess it is finally real to me! lol

Yeah I had the requirement that the name couldn't be impossible since I went from an easy last name to another easy last name, but moved down from M to W. Oh well.

awww..lol. I'm sorry. It became real to me too. I most def printed out the packets. I need all the help I can get. I'm bad at math soo I'm reading everything and will practice everything. The IV calc looks like greek..hehe. Here we go!! Well I guess we'll get our e-mail with the handbook some time next week because I contacted "Miss Emily" and I got a response from her computer stating she won't be back in the office until Monday. I guess I will be studying Dosage Calc until then. Well I hope everyone is having a good day!!!
