Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.
I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.
I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!
I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!
That was exactly my point about the skills kit. Unless yours was different than mine, there really weren't many skills to practice with it. Injection, foley, dressing change, IV starts, piggyback and NG tube. What from the kit will be used in Adult health that wasn't already used in techniques?
everything... for extra practice if your instructor doesn't think your technique isn't good enough... LOL. can you tell i'm bitter? lord knows my happy butt was sent to the lab... ahh yes, lab on top of adult health 1. 'twas fun...
I couldn't believe it when I checked the mail today there it was! I am so excited I got in, I look forward to seeing all of you at orientation, but July 31st to get all of this turned it, OMG I am going crazy already!
