What days do the northside clinic offer the TB test? I noticed people saying they only offer it at certain times, I am going friday to get everything done all at once, so I hope they do the test of fridays..... Also I am going to the finger printing on Friday @ 1, is anyone else going to be out there around that time? We do need to get study groups, even though I don't live in Jax I would come to a study session!!! I sure will need it!

I think I am going to call the financial aide dept. monday and see what I can do. Since the acceptance letters came in my motto has been, It doesn't hurt to try...lol Do we know if we are required to buy our plain white bottoms from Meridys? Im hoping I can buy them from wal-mart, the plain ones are 9 dollars, almost half the price. Do any of you girls live in Fernandina or Yulee? I'm hoping to find a local friend or atleast a car pool buddy, like you other ladies have....:nuke: If the book store sold uniforms that would be great, lets keep our fingers crossed....

Does anyone know if scholarships or grants will pay for the uniforms? It says of the meridys order form if you need third party payment info to call them, ie scholarships but I was wondering if anything we might have would pay it....I just won a scholarship and I have bright futures, so I am wondering if this new scholarship would cover it....

I know how you feel about being broke. I saved up alittle for the program but my car decided to explode, so I was out all of my savings. I don't know how I'm gonna get this stuff paid for but where there's a will there's a way...and i'll somehow make it happen...7y Does anyone know if we have to purchase the uniform bottoms from meridys or can we supply our own white bottoms? I'm hoping I can get out a little bit cheaper somewhere....

I couldn't believe it when I checked the mail today there it was! I am so excited I got in, I look forward to seeing all of you at orientation, but July 31st to get all of this turned it, OMG I am going crazy already! Jenn:yeah:

Hello All! I have applied for Fall 08 too, and I have been waiting ALLLLLL summer for my acceptance letter, I didn't have any classes really left to take. I am 21 and I have a 2 year old daughter, and I look forward to meeting everyone at orientation (hopefully) I know we will all do really well. I live in Fernandina Beach, anyone from around there? I am really worried about the cost of books and supplies. I have bright futures and the full pell grant but I am not sure exactly what to expect with out of pocket cost. I do not have any money saved up, what I did have saved just had to go to investing in a new car lol I wish I would have found this board earlier, but after reading all the posts, I guess we will all know where we stand next week!
