I have seen some incredibly cleaver qotes on this BB. Could I see them (again) and get some feedback on where they originated?
I finally got my one I intend to use. I got it from a fortune cookie the other day. Actually, my boyfriend got it but gladly gave it to me because it was more appropriate for me (okay so we switched fortunes). I am four years older then my boyfriend....

Stolen from a fortune cookie ------------> "The secret to staying young is good health, and lying about your age."

The fortune cookie fortune I have taped above my computer screen is: "Love, time, and patience are your three great physicians." HHhhhhmmmmmmmmm, if I add "in bed" to that it could be VERY interesting-- with or without Viagra?
Some of my other favorite sayings are:
1. "Fast food isn't fast enough" from a "Women who do too much" calendar;
2. "God made time and He made plenty of it" an old Irish proverb; and
3. "Our lives are frittered away by detail; simplify, simplify." Thoreau
I found a few in a quotes book that have stayed with me for the last 15 years or so:
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
People are unhappy because they build walls, not bridges.
I'm not sure of the origins of these (I don't have the book any more) but I try to use them.
