Favorite Dr or Nurse Name

I've been having to hold my side while reading the "weirdest name you've heard a patient name her baby" thread.

It got me to thinking that I know lots of interesting dr and nurse names in my area.

We have the surgeon Dr. Butcher

OB/GYN Dr Box

Derm Dr Rash

and my favorite

Urologist Dr. Littlejohn

Do you have any good ones?

I know a Dick Long and Fanny Butts (not her maiden name, so she took this one on by choice!)

Couple of years back we had a Dr. Muhammad Ali. (Not sure if the first name is spelled exactly as written here, but it is phonetically correct.)

Also met a patient: George Jones (like the country music star).

We have a Dr Bush for our local gynaecologist. Along with a Dr Foot for a surgeon. Lol funniest though would have to be Dr Bullwinkle who lives in Rocky, he must get so tired over the joke of Rocky and Bullwinkle. That ancient cartoon that all the oldies remember when they see him. He still manages to laugh every time, a real nice man.

:) I got a real kick out of this thread. Cant believe I hadn't read it till now! I can think of many "strange" ones, but the names that stand out always for me are 2 docs I worked with: Dr. Barry Pepper, and Dr. Carol Burnett (yes she was hilarious).

We have a Mohammed Ali. Very sweet guy. I also had a patient with that name years ago...I made a joke about him playing possum and only one person got it. Guess I'm old at heart. Heh.

I am totally switching to his practice!

We have a pulmonary tech named Paul McCartney. I've never met him, I've only seen his name on documents and heard him overhead paged once. I like to picture that he is THE Paul McCartney, and that he looks just like Sir Paul did in the movie Hard Day's Night...

We had a Dr. Bonebrake...intensivist not Ortho (that would've been too good)

and Dr. Docter..cracks me up every time I hear that one overhead paged!

If I heard Dr. Doctor over the intercom I would start singing "Doctor doctor, gimme the news! I got bad case, o' lovin' you!"as I danced down the hallway and into the breakroom like an 80's video montage...
