  1. Thank you Magen for the detailed answer!!! Really appreciate it!!
  2. Hi everyone I'm in my final semester of RN school and I hope to take the nclex in January or February. I heard from a classmate that in order for this to happen, I need to apply for licensure now and schedule an appointment for the nclex. I'm confused I thought you graduate, schedule a date after graduation for nclex, take it, and get your license. What am I missing?? P.S. I'm sure my school will let me know what's going on in the near future, at least I hope so, but i just wanted to know in case there's anything I can do to take the exam sooner. I was told if I don't file by October 1st that I'll have to wait until April... I don't want to wait that long. Thanks!
  3. Thank you Rita for your input Does this mean that Acute Renal Insufficiency and Renal Failure are the same thing?
  4. Hi everyone, I'm doing a research project on acute renal insufficiency, but have only come across information on acute renal failure. Both terms seem to be used interchangeably, and I'm really confused. I'm not sure where I can find solid, reliable information on ARI. I have textbooks, and that's ok, but not so sure if I should be reading up on renal failure or not. Help please
  5. ME! YAYY!!!!!!:w00t::w00t:
  6. I love how these "instructors" are "teaching" us how to be responsible, accountable health care professionals, when they're complete frauds.
  7. That happened to me last semester... the ENTIRE class failed an exam and the instructor had the nerve to blame us!
  8. Thank you!

  10. Hey there everyone, I'm almost finished with my program, and I was wondering how do you register/find out where the NCLEX exam is administered? Is there a site to check out? Thanks!

    Hey everyone, I'm looking to get my BSN and was wondering if getting my BS in nursing is the same as a BSN? I'm looking into this RN to BS program with a major in nursing. Thanks :)
  12. Thanks MsPC for the info!!!
  13. Hey Everyone, I'm considering getting my RN-BSN online, but have never taken an online course. Can someone please tell me their experience with distance learning. How convenient is it really? Do you find it irritating in any way? Some programs require you to go on campus... what would you be doing? I've heard you have to attend clinical... this has be a little confussed. If I'm already an RN why would I need additional clinical hours? I know all programs are different, but I'm just looking for a general idea so I can more or less know what I'm getting into. Thanks
  14. I totally hear you!!! Wish I had someone in my class that's like you...everyones either " cliquey" or completely oblivious to the animosity. PM sometime if you need to vent.
  15. Hey There, To me, it sounds like another one of those miserable people that just wants to bring you down... i actually came across a b**** assistant today at the dentist, and she was telling me how i'll have no life as an RN. I didnt buy into it though because i know she's miserable (and im sick of negative down on their luck people always influencing my mood) I mean, working 3 12 hour shifts sounds pretty good to me! It ****** me off hearing dumb people talk like that, but they're miserable... really. She told me so herself! Oh, and you can lease yourself that mercedes once you graduate!
