Published

I've been having to hold my side while reading the "weirdest name you've heard a patient name her baby" thread.

It got me to thinking that I know lots of interesting dr and nurse names in my area.

We have the surgeon Dr. Butcher

OB/GYN Dr Box

Derm Dr Rash

and my favorite

Urologist Dr. Littlejohn

Do you have any good ones?

Thank you, Thank you, I'm here all week. Don't forget to tip your waiters!!!:D:D:D

Took my son in for stitches to his lip and he was SCREAMING when they bring the needles at his face. Dr gets ticked off and walks away to get the nurses to calm him down. I step up like a normal protective momma and say "You are going to sedate him or nothing". He had petechial hemorrhages ALL over his face from fright and screaming for heavens sake! The doc told him "et tis going urt wurs is you screem little boy!" Yes, my kiddo screams louder.

My husband says thank you as the nurse walks away saying "Dr Pepper, mother says he needs something to sedate him before we stuch him up"

My son says Dr Pepper Momma? Can I have one? Every one of us start laughing, even the nurses, Dr. Pepper wasnt impressed tho...:jester:

He probably changed it to that after he got his MD.....!:p

When I was a teen I had a doctor named Dr. Panic. I asked him if he ever was given a hard time over his name and if he ever thought of changing it. As a joke he said that he had changed his name, from Dr. Pain. haha! He was a great doctor and I wish he was still in my area.

Dr. B. Sick, ER physician in SC.

My old PCP was Dr. Richard Handler.

And, once while working, I was helping out with an admission and noticed that someone had written the names of the RN and CNA for the night on the wipe-off board. Nurse: Mary, CNA: Jesus. The patient read them, laughed, and said "I'm in good hands tonight!"

Dr. Tootla - Proctologist

Dr. Root - Dentist

My favorite, which is real by the way, was a nurse at a hematology clinic my mother went to was "Suzie" Leech, RN. Her primary responsibility, draw all of the labs. Yep, she drew blood was was a leech!
