FAU Fall 2015 FNP applicants

Published

Hello. Just checking if anyone else is submitting their application for FAU's FNP program for fall 2015? I'm curious how many applicants they generally receive each cycle and how many they accept.

Is it required to have a National Certification to apply to FAU FNP program?

Is it required to have a National Certification to apply to FAU FNP program?

Yup, every applicant must already have a Bachelors degree and a RN license. They may make exceptions, Im not sure, but I know their application says you need those two things.

What other national certification do you mean...? You don't have to be a part of a nursing club or organization, but it will strengthen your application if you are.

Did you hearing anything ? A girl I know who also interviewed stated we wouldn't hear by email like most schools. They will notify us through the graduate school of acceptance. So I would check your postal mail. I have a feeling we won't know of anything until the end of the week or beginning next week.

I thought it meant a specialty certification. Thanks for clarification.

Anything yet?? The anticipation is killing me! You're right about the postal letter of acceptance I think, only because we had to apply to the graduate school, so I think they may handle all the paperwork, etc. Tell me some good news!!

No I haven't received anything or heard anything. I'm surprised they told you we will hear around the 14th

I'm thinking we will know the week of the 21 st or 28 th ..... :(

I got accepted at FAU guys ! They do send you an email ! Wish everyone the best. Hope to hear you guys made it in !

Huge congrats to you!!! What a relief! I still have not heard anything! My friend was also accepted yesterday-- I had no idea she had applied! I'm getting a little nervous haha.

I just started reading this post, I got my acceptance email on the 16th!!!

Hey ladies, I've been following the post for a while... To those that have been accepted, did you apply for bsn-dnp or the msn track? Just wondering if that's made a difference in acceptance...
