  1. Hello! My husband has a job opportunity in Nashville and I'm interested in finding out more about the area hospitals, best places to live, cost of living and salaries. I currently work for an HCA facility in FL in a trauma ICU with 7 years of experience, 6 being in ICU. I know Nashville is HCA's corporate headquarters, but not familiar with the hospitals themselves. We have young children and good school districts will be important. We also don't need to live in the city, looking for good neighborhoods with affordable homes. Thanks for any insight or info you can provide!
  2. I e-mailed the program coordinator again about it. I will try calling the help desk about my ID, but maybe she can help with the registration date. I have my orientation date at least. Thanks for the tips ladies!
  3. I also did the electronic RSVP, but haven't received anything else yet either. I have a Z number, but no FAU ID. Did you receive this through an email? Thanks!
  4. Their email had a link to click on that you put in your name, email, and you click yes or no for accepting the recommendation
  5. Yes, I got the electronic rsvp. I put my current email address because I didn't have a school one yet.
  6. I believe each campus is it's own unit, don't think they would all that.
  7. It is in Ft. Pierce in St. Lucie County on US 1. Thank you, so excited!!
  8. I interviewed earlier this week and received an email stating the committee has recommended me for admission and I had to complete a link stating I accept the admission recommendation. Is that an official acceptance? I'm so excited if it is! I will be at the Harbor Branch campus.
  9. Well, my persistent emails to multiple staff paid off, they moved my application to the Harbor Branch campus. Now to wait again for a hopeful interview offer now! :)
  10. Thank you! I thought I applied for the Harbor Branch campus, which is where they have a low applicant list, but the coordinator said I put in for Boca. They even extended the deadline for HB to June 1. I've been emailing several different people to get some more answers, but no one has replied to any emails. The number at the HB campus is unmanned and instructs me to call the coordinator I've already been speaking to. I called again yesterday and was told interviews were being completed today, to which I asked if that meant I had a definite rejection and also asked if my application had actually been reviewed. She started talking in circles about them still looking at applications, no I wasn't rejected yet. I tried to ask for some clarification, but she kept saying the same thing. I'm just getting frustrated and not too hopeful. My GPA is 3.1, not super competitive, but I thought I would at least get an interview. Good luck to everyone, hope you got in!
  11. I called again this week, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM PER TOS), and she said they still haven't gone through all the applicants on CAS due to delays on CAS's part. She said they're interviewing and still processing applications and same as 2 weeks ago, if I haven't heard anything, call again in 2 week.
  12. Also, on the nursing CAS application has your application been verified? Mine only has checks under arrived.
  13. Good luck on your interview!
  14. I called them over a week ago to check in and they said they hadn't even looked at my application yet, they were doing interviews and still reviewing applications. She said if I didn't hear anything in 2 weeks to call them back to check in. The weird thing is they did a spot on one of the local news stations saying how little applicants they had. Not very hopeful since they haven't even offered an interview for me yet.
  15. I had to re-enter my coursework on my application last week. CAS instructed me to only list my pre-req, but FAU e-mailed and said they need last 60 hours. No word since then. Working per diem during a program is a great plan, I'm going to do the same thing. Have you heard anything yet either?
