  1. Did you guys register yet for Fall ? What classes are you taking ? Davie has registration last week of June.
  2. They should have emailed you. It's a reservation for a day & time for Registration for Fall.
  3. NurseLG I thought that campus extended their deadline, if so they are probably still sorting out everyone's application.
  4. Hey today they emailed me the RSVP to allow you to pick a day and time you would like to be advised. Check your email.
  5. Oh ok. I would call the IT department at FAU they are usually good at getting you squared away. If you have a username you should be able to set something up. I would definitely call them because FAU loves sending information to your myfau account.
  6. I used myfau email address. After you're accepted the school is suppose to send us something so that we are advised on registration for the Fall ( that I believe is the RSVP ) not the acceptance letter. But okay maybe they'll send it out later this week.
  7. No the electronic RSVP is something else Nathalie 1286. To answer your other question if you go to the FAU website & find the college of nursing I believe you can find SIPS there. At the end it gives you a certificate. You need that to upload into certified profile.
  8. Pediatric experience isn't required. During my interview they asked if I had adult experience. I told them I did not. After I received my nursing degree I went straight into peds & been there ever since. They said it was okay & complimented me on my pediatric experience since the program encompasses the family they didn't seem too worried.
  9. I'm praying for you nursegirl :)
  10. I was so disappointed when I didn't get accepted at UM. They even rotate you in different specialities so you get a taste of what every specialty has to offer. You don't have to find your own preceptors which I don't believe any other school offers. So nurse girl & others out there, it's something to think about.
  11. Nursegirl I wouldn't lose hope just yet. Especially since interviews are still taking place. Just know you'll hear something this week. If FAU doesn't work out I believe UM is accepting applications. Though their part time program starts in January, you'll finish in a year & a half. I know 2 girls who are in the program now & they love it ! I learned I couldn't put all my eggs in 1 basket. I applied to other schools. They called me for interviews but I let them know I made a commitment to another school. Applying to more schools leaves the door open. So when one closes, another opens.
  12. Hi, I called the graduate college & they haven't received anything from nursing. I talked to Karen kasmer & she said even if the graduate college received my acceptance from the committee I still couldn't register for classes because technically the acceptance is for Fall unless I was a non degree graduate student, which I told her I was. So I have to wait until I'm able to register which is 1 week before summer school starts
  13. Oh ok thanks. I will call today :)
  14. I'm planning on going to summer school. I was waiting on an acceptance letter from the college so that I could register. The class I want to take in the summer is about to close. If I don't receive the letter than I would have to wait until 1 week before school starts to register & by then the class could be closed. So that's my reason for asking :) Hopefully we hear something soon.
