Fall 2011 Western University of Health Sciences MSN-E

Published

Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

Any information would be helpful =)

Thanks in advance!

The anticipation is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

That's what happened to me last year... I had a bunch of questions and then they were all answered throughout the day. So, this year I asked them about themselves like why they wanted to be a nurse and how they got started. It was really nice getting to know them and hearing their experiences.

I made sure to do that as well. I had a few questions about the programs and the different paths as well as some of the programs and groups that are available to the students. I was able to send thank you emails directly to the two ladies that interviewed me. I was apprehensive about sending them ones through the mail for the same reasons you-Jes24- were as well. Not to mention it would take almost a week to get there from Chicago.

i check my email/mail everyday even though I know that they haven't sent anything out yet.... this waiting process is stressing me out! im growing white hair before getting into the program! haha

They said decisions would be made within two weeks of last Friday, right? If so, one week of waiting down, one to go!

Yes, they said within the next two weeks. I keep checking my email too! It seems as more time passes the more I doubt how I did in the interview /: Only time will tell... The waiting is killing me!!!

i am soooooooooooooooooo eager to find out :monkeydance:

I know! I'm basically stalking my mailman

the weekend is over... here's to another week of constantly checking our email/mail *wine

Fingers crossed!!!

goodluck every1! :)

by chance, :) does anyone remember if decisions will be emailed even if it's rejection or wait listed or do those decisions only come via postal mail? i am so nervous! but i do hope we all get in :)

From what I understood from reading the packet they gave us at our interviews, it seems that people that are accepted receive both an email and a letter in the mail. Alternatives and rejections seem to only come through US Mail. Also, someone that got in last year or the year before posted that she got an email and a normal sized letter in the mail telling her that she was accepted.

Kitty- What day was your interview and how many people were in your group?
