Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?
Current students--What were your stats like?
Any information would be helpful =)
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the info. I had my interview date towards the end of January. From what I understand, I was one of the first few groups to be interviewed via regular interview and not via "early acceptance" or something like that. I've been waiting for literally a month now and have not heard a word yet. Has anyone heard asides from the early acceptance people? I'm getting super worried... Best of luck to you though! :)
There was about 15 people on the day of my interview. We broke into 3 groups for the essay, interview and campus tour. The inteviewers said to me, "Decisions will be mailed and emailed out towards the end of February after all interviews have been conducted and final decisions are made". I am not sure what that was supposed to mean. :confused:Plus the interviewers were really nice to me although I was nervous.
I interviewed 2/15. I'm doubting that the timing of the interview is a significant factor this time around. Considering how NursingCAS works the later your interview might just be based on when they were able to view your application from NursingCAS or when the committee was able to get to your application.
ilnurse, i guess we'll never really truly know... I submitted my secondaries literally on the due date... and with the primary apps on nursingCAS, i submitted that pretty last minute too... probably a few weeks before my secondaries were due. i hope we do get in though! :)
did you apply to any other programs by chance? and have you heard yet?
ilnurse, did you hear from rush regarding decisions yet? it seems like a good program. congrats on samuel meritt! i'm so excited for you :). did they actually conduct interviews? i also hear GWU is good. i applied to ucla and usd and i will probably apply to some other Accelerated BSN programs.
