Hi all!
Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
Hey y'all!I just wanted to give you guys some hope. I got in! :) it's possible to get into the program if you keep your sight on what you truly want. I got reject last fall, but got in this fall. My stats
GPA 3.6
Science 3.5
HESI 87
5 years of work experience related to community health
I have two friends who got in too. my friend who was also recently admitted to a different program (UTMB) stats
GPA 3.8
Science 3.6
HESI 88
Other friend Univeristy of Utah
GPA 3.9
Science 3.7
HESI 88
Hope this helps.
Best of luck!
:)
You got in to UT Health's Fall 2017 Pacesetter program?
You will receive an email and see an update in admission status on your myUTHealth account. I'm basing this off a previous cohort that I was denied.
Hey Brandon!
Do you receive an update even if you are waitlisted or does it still stay a green circle or yellow triangle? Or will you be notified that you are waitlisted after the acceptances are rolled out? Thanks man!
Yes I have the same question .. Lol
I am thinking that maybe this person is talking about University of Utah. I looked them up and their nursing school is called U Health - so maybe Jessie-lee just popped up on the wrong school's page? I'm pretty sure no notifications have gone out yet. I'm really thinking it'll be next Friday - and by thinking I mean hoping.
Seems like it is for fall 2017. This is the third time I apply and hopefull I get in this time. Fingers crossed
Hey Sarah ! Can you tell me what happened your first try ? I know we were both waitlisted for the summer program. Just trying to see if there is a pattern for waitlisters getting in the application period after they've been denied from the waitlist.

I didn't want to say trolling, but I did think that maybe this didn't apply to us. I immediately checked my mail, email, and UTHealth portal, and nothing. Be still my fast beating heart. Not today, heart. Not today.
