Hi all!
Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
Do admission decisions ever come early or do we really have to wait until June 15th.....?
They're usually earlier than the posted date, but I think they make sure to post a date that allows them some leeway. My best suggestion is to search previous threads and see what dates other cohorts were notified.

i just looked and they were notified April 15th. This is weird because I SWEAR the website used to say fall would be notified April 15th and then they changed it. Did anyone else notice that?
Hi Katherine
i want to get your advice on what materials I need to study for the TEAS I want to take it in the summer so apply for spring 2018, as I see my chances are minimum since my HESI score was not as Great as many. If you can please inform of study materials you used to be so successful in the HESI especially the TEAS. Thank you in advance

Hi JJ Future RN,
I would be more than happy than to share what I did and the materials I used to ace the 2 entrance exams!
I think I will go ahead and just create an article on this, because my answer will be VERY long. It's almost too much for a single comment:rolleyes:. I will post on here when the article is up. I will have it done sometime today and it will give you ALL the information from my experience and what I did to earn those scores!!
For anyone reading this and interested to know as well, my scores are as follows:
TEAS:
Reading: 97.6%
Math: 96.7%
Science: 90%
English: 90%
COMPOSITE: 93%
HESI A2:
Reading: 96%
Grammar: 98%
Vocabulary: 98%
A&P: 96%
Math: 100%
COMPOSITE: 97.6%
Thank you so much will be looking forward for the information. Just need smarter studying. Before taking the HESI I studied for about a month and took the day before the exam to recap.. But maybe I just didn't study the right things!!! Thank you again !! This is awesome of you !! I'm sure this is your turn to get in !
