Fall 2019 Nassau Community College Nursing Program

Hi all! I’ve searched around & haven’t seen any threads on the Fall 2019 NCCC Nursing program applicants so I decided to start one. I would love to hear from current applicants, current/past students, family or friends of NCCC nurses. Any feedback is appreciated. Feel free to join in & let’s chat! ?

It’s similar. 4 exams and a final that is cumulative plus 20 questions of new material. There are 2 short papers and a kind of community service and an essay of your experience you need a 75 to pass them or you have to redo them. You have to get a 75 on two concept maps. We don’t have quizzes.

I spoke to the dean today and she said they are waiting for admissions to finish up their part. Once admissions is done, they can finalize the list.

I called the nursing office today. They said the decision letters will be sent out “hopefully “ by Monday.

Hey guys,

thought I’d just share that I got into Adelphi and am going there since i already have all prereqs/will only take 2yrs for bachelors. I am pretty sure I was going to get into Nassau since I had 90 on teas. So if you guys get a denial letter , you might get in since I’m opting out.

Congrats! My boyfriend just graduated from Adelphi’s Accelerated program. It’s a great school.

Finally taking my teas on Friday after scheduling that test stress, anything I recommend I look over?? I’m pretty much winging it cause of microbio

Read over the focused review on the ati website. I found it covered a lot of topics that were asked on the test. Good luck!
