Hi all! I’ve searched around & haven’t seen any threads on the Fall 2019 NCCC Nursing program applicants so I decided to start one. I would love to hear from current applicants, current/past students, family or friends of NCCC nurses. Any feedback is appreciated. Feel free to join in & let’s chat! ?

How exciting! Good luck everyone. The wait is the worst. I didn’t get my acceptance email until 11/26 for the spring semester. I had 152 points and an overall score of 74% on my teas so don’t get discouraged if your teas score isn’t in the 90’s or 80’s.

I'm pretty sure acceptance emails will be sent out, I'm not sure about letters though

With the new empire program and added classes is it still based on a point system or no? I was wondering if they are only going by classes completed, gpa or teas? Thanks

I went to the last nursing session, and they did say that it's still based on a point system. I'm pretty sure it's based on the prerequisites you have completed and the English language, reading and math sections of the teas. I never heard anything about including your GPA, so I'm pretty sure that doesn't apply, but there's a chance I could be wrong.

I calculated my stats but I'm honestly not sure if they're accurate so let me double check it first. Try not to be nervous, hang in there, I know the wait is difficult!
