Fall 2019 Nassau Community College Nursing Program

Hi all! I’ve searched around & haven’t seen any threads on the Fall 2019 NCCC Nursing program applicants so I decided to start one. I was accepted for the first semester. I am missing Stats and History. I’m currently taking/almost finished with Stats, but I was thinking of taking history this summer. What History classes did any of you take that were considered valid to move to the 2nd semester?

Congratulations all!!! I was accepted into the evening class semester 2!!! I can't believe it....it's like a dream come true!!!!

This is the new curriculum. Looks like the history & the new additional sociology & human development classes are now upper division taken thru empire state. The history class that used to be required with the old program is now useless... ?

I have a similar situation. Got accepted into semester 1, but all I need is bioethics. I’m taking that online this summer. I’m gonna call the department on Monday to see what they say, but I think they prob do the majority of advisement at orientation.

Congratulations to everyone! I am beyond happy right about now I got into the day program ?

Congrats to everyone! I'm still in shock, but I got accepted for second semester, day program. I've been denied many of times from different schools... this is my 3rd or 4th time applying at just Nassau alone. I've been on this forum for every admission cycle in the last couple of years, watching as people were getting accepted while I got denied. I almost lost hope, and was seriously thinking of moving on from Nursing (what I wanted to do almost my entire life). All of this to say, If you didn't get in and Nassau is your first choice or Nursing is your first choice, don't give up. Keep pushing, and you will get there.
