Fall 2019 Nassau Community College Nursing Program

Hi all! I’ve searched around & haven’t seen any threads on the Fall 2019 NCCC Nursing program applicants so I decided to start one. I would love to hear from current applicants, current/past students, family or friends of NCCC nurses. Any feedback is appreciated. Feel free to join in & let’s chat! ?

I’ve seen in prior semester forums that they go out in waves. Someone else posted she isn’t accepting her seat either so there will be some alternates accepted.

If you look at the code they gave us, it’s only a background check. It’s 135 to have it done. It’s super simple to fill out!

This is a stupid thing to wonder but I'm wondering if we have to wait until May 2nd to fill it out? Or would it be okay to fill it out before May 2nd?

I don’t see why we would have to wait. I know it says to contact the company between May 2 and 8th, but I said he’ll with it. If I have an issue with it, I’ll give you a heads up. The system says it takes 48 hours to complete the background check, excluding weekends.

Yeah I kind of figured that it wouldn't be a big deal to get it done early, lol. Thanks for the heads up on that

I applied through admissions as a transfer I called yesterday and they told me a decision has not been made on me yet she said all emails have not gone out yet and to wait until next week the admission woman said that was a good thing...I don’t know why they haven’t finished up decisions? Anyone else hear of something like this? TIA

She told me wait until next week because if we were not accepted it would say it next to our names. She asked me for my Id# and said fingers crossed. Maybe she was lying to me but didn’t seem like it

I hope you get in! Maybe they have a waiting list and waiting for people to decline their seats. Good Luck!
