CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!

That was the LONGEST 2 months of my LIFE but I GOT IN! Second semester EVENING! ?

just seeing this now! i passed, was it my best? absolutely no but a 70, ill take it. if i do not end up in a program in the fall I will obviously restudy in order to get a good grade. it's actually funny, what really killed me was the grammar part and some science questions

I got into first semester Day program ?

However I’ve already accepted a seat at Suffolk (got a letter in the beginning of March from them!) so I’m going to call Nassau on Monday and let them know.

Just an FYI for those wondering. I’m taking A&PII now, no Micro, 83 TEAS, Suffolk resident, but have Associate and Bachelor degree

Congrats to everyone that got in! And to those that didn’t don’t give up. I’ve been in school for a very long time & I’ve been denied from many nursing programs. This is my second time applying to NCC. I know how discouraging it can be but be persistent!

Also, I’ve made a Facebook group for those accepted. “NCC Nursing ‘19” I figured it would be easier to talk about anything related to our program on there. I can’t wait to meet you guys!

I think it’s a background check only. It’s probably an FBI background check usually used for professional school programs and work.

I did it for Suffolk already, not sure if it was Castle Branch company, but impossible to be drug test because they just run your name thru database. Ours did down to state and county.

I’d def clear up the drug test concern now though. You need to submit a physical this summer (not sure if they’d test) and I would think clinical sites would def drug test.
