Fall 2010 Hopefuls??

I know this is way early, but as I am trying for the Fall of 2010 to get into the program, I figured I would start this thread - sorry gals, I copied previous ones... great idea by the way!!!!
Where are you applying?

WITC, local community college

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

NA, but I need a C in chem

When is your schools deadline?

They're accepting apps now

When does the acceptance letters go out?

not sure, but I imagine as soon as I get the application, transcripts, and fee in.

What is your plan A, B, C...?

No idea. I could reup my CNA certification, I guess.

This is if i finish my prereqs, i have a lot i want to do and i am still going back and forth between 2010 and 2011.

Where are you applying? San Francisco State and CSU Long Beach

What is your GPA and/or points for your of choice? Currently, 3.8 total but 4.0 in prereqs (so far..)

When is your deadline? November 30th

When does the acceptance letters go out? I think in april for CSULB, i don't know about sfsu.

What is your plan A, B, C...?

If i do not get in to a program for 2010 I will continue going to my junior college for another year to finish any GE courses and any prereqs I can do for other schools. Then, in 2011 I will go all out and apply to all of the schools i have prereqs finished for: CSULB, SFSU, CSU east bay, CSU LA, Sonoma State, CSU Sacramento, California State University, Chico, CSU stanislaus, CSU Fresno, CSU San Marcos, CSU Channel Islands and my JC's ADN program. If all else fails, and I don't get accepted anywhere I will probably move to So Cal working as a CNA (i'm gonna get my cna this winter) and find an LVN program to attend and work my way up. I'm determined.

The anticipation is killing me.

lonestar college in houston, tx. there are like 4 or 5 different schools i can apply at within the college system.

what is your gpa and/or points for your school of choice?

3.10 currently, but i've had a rough past few semesters and have slacked too much. when i dedicate myself, i'm a great student.

when is your schools deadline?

guessing around the spring sometime of 2010.

when does the acceptance letters go out?

probably a month or so after the deadline?

what is your plan a, b, c...?

a- apply to other houston area schools as well.

b - lvn

c- apply around some more..i don't think i'll have to end up on c, though.

Hey All,

I am sooo excited about startng in 2010. I am attending Seminole Community College and I am going to apply for January 2010 for the evening program. however, I will have 1 pre-req left when I apply. If I don't get in I will apply for fall 2010 for the day program and apply to Valencial Community College. I have 3 choices. My goal is to be a RN at the age of 45 and obtain my master by age of 50. 2010 is the magic year to make this happen! :yeah:

Hi I'm fall of 2010 to my school of choice is USM or UNE and maybe Liberity university my g.p.a is really low 2.0 but I'm really hoping to get it up it's hard working and going to school I have to pay rent

Where are you applying? Georgia Southern or Armstrong Atlantic (If we're still stationed in Georgia)

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

GPA has to be 3.0 and above, I am currently at a 3.7

When is your schools deadline? Deadline is the first Friday in February for Georgia Southern and May 1- June 16 for Armstrong

When does the acceptance letters go out? Have no idea!!

Can't make plans, I'm military our plans never work out!:icon_roll

i know u guys posted this a while ago,as i didn't get n 4 spring 09, it looks like i will b applying 4 the spring of 2010. but i have 2 retake A&P, i had a B now i have to try for a C to get my gpa in prereq's up 2 a 3.7 from a 3.5. also they suggested i retake Soc. and get an A, and take HSC 100 (lifespan) which is in the program to raise my other gpa. i also have to retake the Net, as it expires in Feb. 2010. i don't know, what do u guys think?

where are you applying?

i'm applying to a bunch of direct entry master's programs. where i apply depends on whether i can get into an anatomy class at my local community college (it's the most impacted course at the college, and as a college graduate, i'm at the bottom of the registration pool). if i don't get in, i'm applying to yale, pace, simmons, and mass. gen. hospital. if i do get in, i'll also be applying to northeastern and boston college. either way, my first choice is yale (although i seriously doubt i'll get in).

i graduated from uc santa cruz with a 3.23, but i had a 3.8 in my last 90 credits, so i'm hoping that'll work in my favor. i start my prereqs this summer.

november 1st is the earliest, with august (!!!) being the latest.

when does the acceptance letters go out?

anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks after i apply. some schools (yale) also require an interview.

if i don't get in anwhere, i'll apply for americorps for a year, and then try again when i'm done with that.
