Fall 2010 Hopefuls??

I know this is way early, but as I am trying for the Fall of 2010 to get into the program, I figured I would start this thread - sorry gals, I copied previous ones... great idea by the way!!!!

Where are you applying?

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

When is your schools deadline?

When does the acceptance letters go out?

What is your plan A, B, C...?

these are my answers to the questions... :specs:

where are you applying? george mason university, virginia

what is your gpa and/or points for your school of choice? my current gpa has been between 3.75-4.0 right now. (this is cumulative between my previous aa, my emt school, and current school)

when is your schools deadline? march 1st of each year. (their program starts in only the fall)

when does the acceptance letters go out? june of each summer

what is your plan a, b, c...? my plan is to get accepted, no matter what it takes or how long i have to wait.

The application deadline is Febuary 1st 2009 and the application period opens on November 1st. I'm sure I'll have my application in early. They usually let you know by the beginning of May for a September start. My current GPA is a 3.55 but I still have quite a few pre/co-reqs to go so we'll see what happens my GPA..

And, like I said, it's only if I don't get cold feet again...

Well lets keep that from happening, shall we?? How many pre-reqs do you need? I am taking A&P with my MA program, but I have to retake it at the university.

I need A&P I & II, Ethics and Statistics...

Oh it's so great to have the support of others. I'm trying desparately to stay on course and not change my mind again. I have been on a roller coaster ever since I returned to college...

This coming spring I'm planning on taking A&P 1 and Sociology. I plan in taking A&P 2 next fall and maybe lifespan development. Then I'll take Microbiology in the Spring of 2010 while I'm anxiously awaiting my decision...

Where are you applying? Cal State East Bay, San Jose State, Chabot College, Ohlone College

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice? If I get all A's in the pre-req's I am finishing this year, my pre-req GPA will be 3.76. I haven't taken the TEAS yet, and I plan on getting at least one supplemental criteria for CSUEB.

When is your schools deadline? CSUEB hasn't opened their Fall 2010 requirements webpage yet, but everything will probably be due in Feb of 09.

When does the acceptance letters go out? May 09.

What is your plan A, B, C...? I'm going to start working on the upper division of a degree in Health Sciences next year, while I'm waiting on my nursing school status. If I don't get in anywhere, I'll apply again, and if not after that, I'll have a B.S. and will apply to ELMSN programs.

lol I'm already so nervous. I really wish CSUEB would release their Fall 2010 page.

deadline?:may 25th of 2009 i believe

when do acceptance letters go out?: end of august

plan b: if i don't make it, i can always continue to wait on the community college that i am waitlisted for. my number should come up in spring 2010, which would mean a fall 2010 start!

Hey, also a fall 10 hopefull for an accelerated bsn. Busy making spreadsheets trying to decide which schools to apply to and what prerequisites to take when i get back from abroad. And of coorifice devouring all the info here!

i'll actually be done w/ prereqs at the end of fall'09 but the school i want doesn't start the new nursing class until june. you take two "prep" classes in the summer before the start of you junior year and then start the program in the fall.

so i'm looking for a summer/fall start of 2010.

what is your gpa and/or points for your school of choice? my cumulative gpa since the dawn of time (i.e. my first aa degree) is 3.389. i'll be adding the gpa of 10 classes to that in the next year. hopefully they'll be almost all a's to bring that up. the cuttoff for last year's class was 3.30.

after spring semester i will be on the never ending wait list for the cc i'm taking my pre-reqs at. if i can't get in at bg i'll probably wait for my # to come up there but they're saying to look for a 2 year + waiting list no matter what your gpa is!!

well my undergrad gpa from my university was 3.68, now that i am taking the pre-reqs my gpa upon admission should be in the ballpark of 3.75--3.80.

i think in january because they give you enough time to apply for the bsn program the deadline of which is february 1st 2010.

a- the alternate entry msn program though ecu

b-bsn through ecu

c- well, medical school i guess...lol. no, keep trying until i get in.
