Fall 2013 FSCJ Nursing Student Hopefuls

Hey everyone! Wanted to go ahead and start a thread for our group. I've been following the spring and summer 2013 group a little and figured it might be a good idea to get focused for the fall 2013 group. I've completed all my prerequisites and took my NAT test. Got a 107 on the test and I'm sitting at a 93 will all the prerequisites. So I'm going into the application process with a 203. Does anyone know what the general cut off is? I'm a bit nervous but I'm sure everyone else is too. The only thing I haven't completed is the CPR. I read once that this can be done after acceptance into the program...is that true? Thanks everyone! Can't wait to start chatting!

Does anyone know how long test scores are good for? For instance, if I take the test again in September and increase my scores but can't apply in the Spring. How long would those scores be good for, to apply for future terms?

Has anyone heard anything yet? I am hoping they do not take the full 8 weeks to let us know. I knew someone over summer who found out several weeks before the 8 weeks was up.

No, I haven't recieve anything in the mail. I'm hopingto recieve acceptance letter no later than July 24, 2013. Good luck on your waiting process.

I have heard the first semester schedule is pretty much 8-4 Mon-Thurs. Is that pretty accurate? And is there any break time or any way to schedule classes for diff times... i am hoping to be able to squeeze a few hours in at a part time job and not quite sure if that will be possible during the week. So many questions!!! Thank you to anyone who can offer any info :)

Hi mya4414. I also applied and had UNF interview however i was denied. Although not sure why? I had a 344 on TEAS and 4.0GPA , it must have been all based on interview. Oh well. Hope you made it. I have also applied at FSCJ with a total of 219 points. Hoping to receive an acceptance letter soon. Good luck to you all.

I've been adding up my points (for the hundredth time lol) and I know they want to know the grade you got in College Algebra. If I got a better grade in a higher level class will they take that one instead?
