2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Hi!

I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

I know it's too early but does anyone have an idea of when the orientation would be? I saw 2nd or 3rd week of July.

I have a 3.7 and I got a 63 on the teas. I’m hoping for plant city campus! I’m hoping to turn the application in tomorrow I was also waiting for 3 more grades! Do we need to include transcripts?

@Bdeal2019 you don't have to provide your transcript if you are a current student in hcc.

If you have an associates degree, you don't have to provide your high school diploma, but you have to provide all the transcripts if you've been to different colleges with your application. I contacted the health science regarding on this matter.

Did you already apply online? I'll submit my application tomorrow.

that application is not for current students, as a current student you just need to submit the paper copy either by mail or dropping it off. i dropped mine off last friday. let the wait begin. ended up applying with a 3.7!

random question:

anyone here have any tattoos, I know they are not supposed to be visible. so are we then allowed to wear long sleeve underneath uniforms. i have a sleeve, a hand tattoo, and two small ones on each side of my neck

Good morning all,

I have a few questions. First, has anyone taken micro online at HCC? I’m taking it next week. It’s 6 weeks both lecture and lab.. I’m currently at Polk State in Lakeland and will be applying there for fall, but I know it’s competitive so if I don’t get in, I will apply for HCC Spring of next year.

Along with micro this Summer, I’m also taking intro to sociology since HCC requires it.. I’m only taking it as a back up if I don’t get into Polk State.

I took the TEAS three times, and my last attempt was a 74 (thank god! Lol) my gpa is a 3.34..
