Hi!
I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

Okay, thank you. I wonder if my gpa is good enough to get in, in spring? I have a 3.4 my teas was 74
I believe we will find out this information once we hear whether or not we are accepted.
It appears your GPA is good enough, however, I believe the GPA cut off's are determined by the students who apply. Did you apply for the Fall?

No I didn’t, I’m in the process of finishing up micro and take sociology. I will be applying for spring 2020
Hello,
I'm applying for this Fall 2019 cycle. However, I have a concern. In WebAdvisor under "Progress Towards Degree Reqs", my college algebra or higher math requirement is still showing as "Not Started" even though I've already taken statistics and calculus. With the decisions coming out soon, I'm wondering if I should call the health admissions office or walk in and correct this. I've already sent an email to the health sciences, but I only received a generic email in response.
The email I sent them was a forwarded email from an academic advisor confirming that I could use my AP Calc test score for the math requirement.
I'd appreciate any help on this issue.

I am in the same situation! I took statistics and AP Calculus in high school. I emailed the general admissions office. The guy told me that he confirmed with health sciences that AP Calc is enough to fulfill the credit!! Don’t worry!!! Good luck ?

From what I was told stats does not count as a higher math
