Fall 2020 El Centro Nursing Program Applicants

Published

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to start a new thread for Fall 2020 applicants at El Centro, since I didn't find one already here. Let's see if we can help eachother out and answer some questions for eachother. Currently, I have 35 points, but will be applying with about 40, I believe. I'm wondering if that is competitive? Also, I need to get my physical, titers, and vaccines, but don't have health insurance. Any ideas where I can get them done at a decent price? I found a website but I am not sure if they will accept stuff from there....

Hey guys! I got accepted to this upcoming spring semester and will start next month (January). It comes soo fast! I used the Elsevier HESI book to study because the test is through Elsevier. Good luck everyone!

That’s good you did better this time. I made an 87 cumulative last time but I’m aiming for at least a 90 this time around.

That's what I got, an 87.20% ☹️. Can I ask why you want to retake it? Is it just to get a higher grade?

87 is a great score! I like winsavin am curious to know why retake it?

Yes I just want a better grade to better my chances. Since El Centro goes by each section I would probably get 9 points total just from the HESI and that’s not going to get me far.

Sorry if this is blurry but from my scores here I wouldn’t get very many points from it. Hopefully the third time’s a charm!

What's your total points with these Hesi score if you don't mind me asking.

Looks like your reading is fine. Maybe you could focus on the grammar, vocab, math and ap. Looks like if you can push in those areas, you'll be okay.

Yeah I know but I’ve been studying the reading comprehension questions and I’ve been getting the majority of them wrong ? so I guess I do need to work on it.

Hello,

I’m taking mine on the 15th so I’m cutting it close as well. The HESI is the determining factor if I apply or not based on my results and also if they take my HPRS pharmacology. Good luck on your HESI!

Hello Everyone! I am new to the group, I will be dropping off my application on Friday for Fall 2020 ASN program. I applied last semester for Spring 2020 and was not accepted because my vaccines weren’t completed in time. It was devastating BUT I have 100% compliance on CastleBranch this time around!
