I hope most of you have loaded up on drop slips....I've seen some of these schedules posted, and I'm not saying which ones in particualr--buy by week 3 you're going to be burned out. In other words, ain't gonna happen!

:nono:...Don't be so sure...

Specializes in LDRP.

I really dislike it when people try to turn a fun, positive thread into something negative and stress-inducing!

I agree with Teresa'sblueangel, I've read stories on here about single mothers with multiple children and no support group, who work full time, and who are taking care of elderly relatives who were able to get through BSN and even Accelerated BSN programs - and some with mostly A grades to boot! If there are women (and I'm sure some men too) out there who can do that, then I KNOW that as a young woman with no husband or children to look after and who won't be working during my ABSN program, I can definitely succeed in nursing school as well!

Where there's a will, there's a way! Don't ever let anyone tread on your dreams! :)

Health Assessments

and Introduction to Pharmacology

I agree!!! If an individual is driven, has a great support system and is well organized, just about anything is possible.

I have Nursing Fundimentals this semester. It's a 8 credit course, schedule is ... Monday night lecture from 5:30-8, Tuesday night lab 5:30-7:30, Wednesday night lecture 5:30-8:00 and Thursday night clinicals from 3:00-10. I was a little concerned reading these posts though, seems like a lot of people have individualized classes like patho and phys. I wonder if my schools program just lumps them together.

Clinical Pathophysiology

Introduction to Contemporary Nursing

Level I Nursing Skills I

Wow - I wish evening classes were offered where I'm attending. That would be perfect for me! I work f/t 3rd shift and am going to basically have to go from work to school from 8-2:30...

I wish I didn't have to work LOL :) I work full time 8-5, my boss is FAB and she's letting me use vacation time to leave early on Thursdays for clinicals. I have two children also, ages 6 and 3. My oldest starts first grade and joined soccer this year. I have the wonderful support of my parents though, so I'm hoping it's not too challenging.

Gee thanks for spreading your negativity. Which really is not needed. What are YOU taking fall semester????

I am also starting this fall AGAIN ---We are only allowed to take Funds of Nursing 1 and no other additional classes. Also my class is on site on line. It sounds like everybody else has a heavy workload good luck. :nurse::redpinkhe
