Failed NCLEX 2nd time

Well I failed again.... I am pretty devestated right now. I thought I was prepared to handle this better than the first time, but I still can't stop the tears. My dream for so long is to become a nurse and I won't give up until I do. I studyied so hard to prepare for the boards the second time around, and yet again a fail. I did the Hurst online which is a great review, but I think I should have went through it again. I can use it until the middle of November so I will do it again. Please pray for my brain to be able to take in the information yet again but for it to stick this time. ha ha. For those of you who passed congradulations to you and for others like myself lets just keep trying....

I didn't know I could feel this sad yet again....

I understand how you feel. Don't lose hope, there is always a chance. Just pray because with God nothing is impossible. Have faith and be patient on him. I know time will come and you will make it. Now, try practicing answering more and more questions, learn to understand the concept and you will make it..=) Don't lose hope. I will pray for you...

I'm sorry too hear that you failed twice. There are many great nurses who have had to take the NCLEX more than once, so do not lose hope! Take some time off to grieve, and then get back to studying. I would practice questions, and read the rationales carefully whether you got them right or wrong. It is important to learn how to answer the types of questions that the NCLEX throws at you. Thank so much for your reassuring words. I just found out today and am having a harder time than I thought I was.... I had to call my job and tell them so they called back and told me they had to terminate me... the tears started flowing all over again.... now I have to worry even more about how I will be able to pay my bills...

i failed twice as well. ive started answring questions from lippincotts book, lpn incredibly made easy and nclex pn 3000. goodluck hun n dont give up.

Same here miche..i failed twice too last aug..since then i didnt feel like studying..but now i'm ready to get back on track. I just recently enrolled for hurst review..i find it really good. Hpefully we can pass this test once and for all.
