Thanks ujones i'll do exactly like you did, study content with hogan and it's practice disc, strategies and critical thinkings skills with hurst and nclex exam cram for the simulated exam. Hopefully this time i'll make it. Again, congratulations for passing the test, i am so proud of you and i truly admire your dedciation and hard work. You are one of my inspirations to pass this test. Thank you very much. I'll surely keep in mind everything you've suggested to me. Do u have any other suggestions for me to do? If yes, i'll truly appreciate it. Same here miche..i failed twice too last aug..since then i didnt feel like studying..but now i'm ready to get back on track. I just recently enrolled for hurst review..i find it really good. Hpefully we can pass this test once and for all.

I'm with you hopeful..i too failed twice..took my last take aug18..since then wasn't feeling right to study again..now i'm ready to get back on track...we can do this hopeful..let's stay positive. We can pass this test!!!

Same here sweety it'll be my third time too..i failed last aug18 with 3 below the passing standard and 5 near the passing standard..since then i felt like trash..i was mopping myself to death and i felt so darn worn out studying..but now i'm ready to get back on track. We can do this my friend, we can pass this test. Believe on it!!! With our determination and hard work and most esp. God's grace we can acheive anything in this world. With Him nothing is impossible. I am studying again for my 3rd take for the exam. I found nclex exam cram to be very helpful and hogan's practice questions from her cd. I have followed our friends ujones and freedom42 and newaggie09 way of studying and I just have enrolled myself in hurst review. I can't wait to get back on track and start pumping up again to study..i am done mopping around now it's time to get back to work. So folks let's start studying and pass this test! If our fellow colleagues and friends can pass this test so can we!!!! Let's get it started in here!!!

Ujones, freedom42, and newaggiegrad09 I finally enrolled myself to hurst review. I got the workbook and the cd-r and 5th day dvd that comes along with it. I will be closely following what you did to study for the nclex. I was so amazed and inspired with you three's success of passing the nclex. And I have read over and over what you guys have told me on how to prepare for this test. I will surelly do by best to study hard and be well-prepared enough to pass my next take for the nclex-rn. I wish you guys all the best as you unfold another chapter of your lives as license nurses. I am so proud of you and very much inspired for all your hard work. And I will surely keep in mind everything you've taught me and told me.

Hi chokiez!!! Nope I'm not ready to retake the test yet. I haven't received my new ATT either. I want to take it by oct. but it all depends if i'm ready. I'll see. I just took my 2nd take last aug.13 and I found out two days later i didn't made it. I failed the test. I was totally devastated since I really studied y'know. Which was annoying. But I've read alot of threads and msgs here from test takers like us who never gave up even how many takes they took and that kinda uplift my spirit so i'm not giving up. I'm going to retake the test again. I just sent my application for reregistreation last aug. 19 haven't heard back anything from my board. Right now I'm just freshening my nsg.content. I'm reading prentice hall's nclex-rn by pearson/hogan i totally like it it's kinda overwhelming but i love it since it's based from the ncsbn's nclex-rn blueprint and it's made by pearson. It's not that hard to read either though can be overwhelming to read but the disc is sweet. I also have saunder's which was the only resource material i totally used in my previous take but I wont reread it anymore i'll just review the QandA's in the book and practice more questions on the disc later after i'm done reading hogan's book. I also have kaplan strat and hurst strat so as saunder's strat which i'm done reviewing before so i wont dwell on it ti'll i've scheduled my test but i certainly would review my la charity book and exam cram disc from pearson as well since it has higher level questions on those resources that somehow I couldn't manage to crack or pass. I definitely need to work harder...i'm quite frustrated already..really! But, can't give up right. We have to stay positive, sometimes thinking positive don't work..so i just try to convince myself that after that the higest reward for a man's toil is not what he gets for it, but what he becomes by it. And passing this test will bring me never ending rewards so to you...so we must never give up. That's our new motto to deal with the anxiety for preparing this test. Ayt? How about u? what are u doing to prep. for the exam?

Hi chokiez! it's been awhile, i then i sent you a reply in one of my thread but haven't heard from you. Oh I wish you're here right now so we can study together. I've read you haven't submitted your form yet? When do u plan to take the test? Anyhow, we can still be studymates through online. Actually my friend who i just met here is wanting to study online she's at PA. We can study together. I dont know how that works but we can make a schedule or plan out something, even sharing notes or resources or something like that. I'm glad you replied in my thread. How's the phils? I really miss home. I want to go home na. This is the only reason that's hindering me to go back home. My husband wants me to finish all my obligations here first, that is to pass the test first and get my new greencard and passport. Anyway, we'll help each other pass this test. We'll make it to a promise that we will pass this test. Ayt? I'm really glad you replied, though it's sad you're not here close right now. But we can still study online.
