4550- Evidence Based Nursing

From looking at the classes starting in fall, I'm guessing that Evidence Based nursing is replacing Research? Anyone have any idea if stats is still required prior to taking this, as it was with Research?

What was the purpose of that????? I searched that whole chapter and did not find a single reference to the newest revisions of the ( certain associations) code of ethics. And no mention of most of the others stuff either.

I got 2 right, my grade would be a 28%.

I think that was a trick question...check out the organization's acronym.

You have to add the second file or the third or whatever revision you are submitting. Do not hit submit until you are ready. I never used that option in Epic - but tried it in Bb. No issues.

I clicked remove file and then OK and when I tried to re submit, it would not open. and the Submission history showed that I made a submission but everything was blank.

I'll let you know if I get a second chance.

I just happened upon the quiz doc. link under week 1 question/answer board of all places! I did not click to open because I was afraid I'd never be able to get out alive, lol! I sure appreciate Epic after this!

Ordered my book two weeks ago and it still has not arrived. If not here tomorrow will have to order from Amazon and have it sent by one day shipping, in order to get this weeks homework done. Sheesh.

That's a major stressor! :( This week's chapters are definitely test material. Good luck getting that book!

Thanks for letting me know. I am going to order from Amazon. They guarantee to deliver by Friday. I will end up with two books...but, can't delay anymore.

Someone asked a question on our Q/A board about it. It pops up on Thursday. Just checked, it is located under the week 1 assignments.

First, let me thank rninme for alerting me that there was an ungraded quiz in our assignment - I would not have found it otherwise. Second, let curse rninme for pointing out how to find the quiz - I would have been better off not knowing about it. My official grade on the quiz is zero according to the BB summary. I know that I'm not sharpest knife in the drawer but would like to think that I even by chance, I'd get one right. When I checked my answers, I found out that I actually got 3 right. So now I'm struggling with how 3 out of seven equals zero percent. And I thought I was good in math!

My real question is about the "Respondus LockDown Browser" that it states is required to take the quiz. Do we have to download and use this? It is going to be a big headache for me since I usually use my work laptop for quizzes because my personal machine has a habit of locking up - which caused me to loose big points on a quiz in the past. Trouble is, our work laptops are themselves locked down and do not allow us to install outside software. And there's no app for the iPad, so that's out too. Anyone take the quiz yet?

Chuckster, I have found whenever an activity is ungraded it will show as a zero in the grade book (that is how it was for my other BB courses). I do not know about this Browser either. Never heard of it before and I have taken plenty quizzes and tests in BB. I would think if we didn't have any issues with the nongraded activity, it may not be needed?!

chuckster - I haven't downloaded anything. I think quizes in Bb just prevent anyone from opening another browser to look up answers.
