Esme had emergency surgery Saturday and is in ICU. She is doing better, but is still very uncomfortable.
She could use some extra prayers and well-wishes from her friends here on allnurses.
We Love You!!!!!!!
Yup.I don't have a "favorite" here, but over the years I've noted that Esme is that rare breed that really (really) knows her stuff, but doesn't throw her stuff in anybody's face and never posts her stuff without making sure her stuff is backed up with research and science.
I think that is one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. Thanks GC!
I just love you all.....you all have been good for me! I am doing ok! Much more painful than I would prefer or expected. Everyone who sees it is impressed with my 14 inch abdominal incision....LOL. Nurses give your pain meds....LOL it hurts like crazy! but less every day. JP's are gone.....thank goodness they suck too!
Casper my grey faced love is happy Mommy is home....so are my kids (hubby is too). I can get used to all this spoliing...LOL

14 inches??? I just pulled my shirt up and eyeballed my belly. That's about from my symphysis to my xyphoid process.
Holy intestines, Batman. You've been eviscerated.
