Emory applicant for 2011

Greetings everyone:

I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!

@hereicome Congratulation!! I ended up not completing my application because I needed the TOEFL test. =( I feel like I just gave up so I am upset but the only available dates for the TOEFL was feb and probably 2 weeks for them to send the results so I felt like I didn't have a chance! Its great to know you got in!!! and Congratulations to others as well!! =)

Does anyone know where to go to get our new email address?? I'd really like to set it up, even though Katie said we don't need it yet.

Super excited, I got in as well. I cannot wait to meet everyone at the April annual visit day for admitted students. This is going to be an exciting year for us. FYI for those who have and have not taken the TEAS it is now a requirement to take it and submit your scores before June 1st. Luckily I took it so I don't have to retake it. Good luck to everyone in class of 2013. WAHOOOOO WE FINALLY MADE IT!!!!!

GUESS WHO IS THE NEWEST EAGLE?!?!?! WHOOOOO!!!!

Just got my acceptance letter. Thanks to all on this thread for the support. I can't even feel my legs right now. It was definitely worth the wait and all the cortisol running through my veins for two weeks. Cograts to all the others who found out today as well.

Congrats Karczyn2. I'm very happy for u. Finally the wait is over.

@hlee. Sorry u had to give up. If I were u, I'd have still gone ahead and written the Toefl since other schools might also require it. Besides some people have been accepted to many schools, so there's still hope.

@iluvnrsing. What will the TEAS be used for? Is there a second screening? I had started reading for it anyway, coz I was planning on applying to Georgia state if EMory didn't accept me. I try to write it during my winter break.
