Emory absn 2017

Hi everyone!

I figured I would start a thread for the upcoming application cycle for Emory's ABSN program. I am excited to get everything in and apply, I am just waiting to take my TEAS.

Hi guys! I looked at my student portal and the decision hasn't officially been posted but I have a "pay admission deposit" link underneath the "decision" link that wasn't there before. From previous posters, it seems as though this was followed by an acceptance email. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm really really hoping that that's the case for me here!!! Has this happened for anyone else?

I just received my acceptance!!! I am SO excited!!

I did not receive an email so I went onto the app portal and there was a small area where it said a new update had been added and the decision was posted there ( :

no decision for me..yet. I just finished microbiology so I'd imagine they may wait for that grade. I am also retaking my TEAS so that may be another factor. Lastly, I only have Chemistry as my only pre-req left. Good luck to those still waiting and congratulations to those who have acceptance. If it's meant for me to matriculate Fall 2017, so shall it be :)

I got an email today at 2:18 PM PST and it had a link to my application (not OPUS) and when I signed it brought me to another link with my decision!

I got in!!

ABSN 2017!

Yeah it was in my application portal not OPUS, CONGRATS everyone who got in!!

Has anyone made a Facebook page?

I don't know if a page has successfully been made yet on Facebook, but we should get that established!!

And to all of those waiting to hear back, best of luck to you! Make sure you check your application status page. My decision still hasn't been posted on OPUS, but was on the application checklist site. :)

I went to two schools-

My GPA at first was 3.9 with 45 units

3.5 at current school with 50 units

submitted ACT I took in high school score 26
