Emory absn 2017

Hi everyone!

I figured I would start a thread for the upcoming application cycle for Emory's ABSN program. I am excited to get everything in and apply, I am just waiting to take my TEAS.

I haven't heard anything and my GRE waiver seems like it didn't turn green, so I am assuming that it is a no for me....

I'm still waiting to hear back. Everything I submitted had turned green so we'll see what happens from here!

I just heard today! There will be an email, and the good news will show up as an update on your account status. For many reasons, I'm so happy I got in- my significant other lives in Georgia, and we've been doing the long-distance thing, so I'm 100% excited to start preparing for moving for next fall!!!

By the way, for people interested in stats:

Undergrad GPA: 3.6

Currently taking: Microbio and Microbio Lab, Human Development, and Nutrition

Prereqs left to take: Chem and Chem Lab, Statistics

TEAS total score: 94.7%

Congratulations to all who have been accepted. I have not received any notifications yet. There's nothing new on OPUS. Is the admissions portal the same as the one that lists all documents that have been received? I'm so anxious. I'm praying I get accepted.

For those accepted, did you have to apply for Financial aid first? I haven't completed my application for FAFSA and beginning to wonder if that is a prerequisite for admission?

Eacor1113 , please post the link for the Facebook group that you created. Thank you for doing that. I searched for "Emory ABSN 2017" on Facebook but could not find the group.

For anyone wondering, I applied with a 3.2 cumulative undergraduate GPA and a 4.0 prerequisite GPA. Goodluck to all those waiting to hear back.

I'm so disheartened that I haven't heard back yet. Does not hearing today mean we got rejected? I must have refreshed my account a million times today.

Will we get a rejection letter in the mail if we didn't hear back? Or will it still come online?

Hi guys. I really, really wouldn't lose hope. Not hearing back probably just means a decision hasn't been made, yet!! I think the admissions are rolling, so they'll keep reviewing and admitting until all spots are filled.
