  1. It took ours a while (almost 2 months) to be approved but yours may be faster as the final decision date is approaching, yes? Good luck to you guys :)
  2. Hey, I have a weird incoginto fb user name just fyi. Bojart. :/ But I'll request adding it right now. Thank you for taking the initiative!
  3. Thanks! That makes things far less stressful. I thought we'd have to make travel arrangements.
  4. Has anybody heard about when the mandatory orientation day is? It would be nice to know sooner rather than later so that we can make travel arrangements and get coverage for work etc....
  5. So I started following the GWU SON Facebook page, but am wondering if we should create a group for us to follow for our specific stuff? I would start one, but just got back onto Facebook from 2 year hiatus and have no idea how to start one! Has anyone started one yet?
  6. Has anyone who is interviewing for W2 tried to contact the person via the email link they included in the information page? The link isn't working for me and it is stressing me out that I cannot sign up. I emailed and left a vm about it so I am hoping to hear back soon about that.
  7. I just received my decision. I was waitlisted. But on Friday I received my conditional admission to The George Washington University (which I my first choice). I couldn't be more happy. Good luck to everyone else still waiting and congratulations to all of those accepted!
  8. CatsOnTheRoofTops: How long typically is the drive from Ashburn to DC would you say? Or maybe from Dulles? Is the Metro line close and walkable as far as safety? I'd love to hear your insight having lived there yourself!
  9. From what I can tell about the past cohort's posts, it seems like some prefer to live in a town like Reston, which is in between the two. I think that the DC area is a little expensive compared to some other areas. It totally makes sense if you live there already. I'm moving from CA and will not be working during school, so cheaper is better for me personally. But I am trying to look at the towns in between. I also read that some liked living in Ashburn so that they could sleep in longer on lecture days and go home for lunch. That sort of thing. So much planning needs to happen now! Yikes!
  10. Same here.... nothing and met the priority deadline.
  11. Same for me! I'm so excited!! Not sure about the W2 either.... can't wait to find out more!
  12. It sounds like the veterans fall cohort was notified the other day. I'm not sure about the specifics. I imagine it will be any day for the regular ABSN cohort
  13. That is incredible! Congratulations. That must mean it could be any day now... You must be thrilled :)
  14. The middle of the month is quickly approaching! I'm starting to get a little nervous/excited! Anyone hear anything?
