Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 Program

Hi everyone,

I thought I would get a thread started for the Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 application cycle. I am going to the information session next Friday, July 24th for the program.

Has anyone else started to get ready for this application cycle?

I am waitlisted too! Let's hope for the best and wait eagerly for an update :)

Am I able to apply without taking the GRE? I'm getting so anxious because I've had my prereqs done forever but I'm not taking the GRE til next month :(

I'm not sure if you can. You should send them an email but I think if you don't have everything submitted they would review your application until complete. I submitted an old GRE score which was low, so I put a projected date which I am taking my GRE again.

I applied on September 30th. I emailed the [email protected] address about some unresolved check marks last week. I got the notification yesterday about being wait listed. It didn't say too much in details about the wait list.

I know if you applied to the ABSN + MSN you have to take the GRE.

I applied on the 15th, I got green checks on the 24th. I haven't heard anything from Emory about a decision yet!

ditto... except my Bachelor's is still a red check, but prereq's are now green. Thank you.

I applied on the 15th as well and have all green checks except for Microbiology (currently taking it) and MAT scores (although I submitted my unofficial report) as of October 23rd. Just waiting on some type of update! Hopefully something will be sent out this week.
