Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 Program

Published

Hi everyone,

I thought I would get a thread started for the Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 application cycle. I am going to the information session next Friday, July 24th for the program.

Has anyone else started to get ready for this application cycle?

I received an email for Opus account. I don't think it has anything to do with acceptances. I received the email 2 weeks before getting notification of being wait listed.

OPUS is working. Try it again and OPUS supposedly is only used for Financial Aid . I'm not sure if they post decisions on their. Try not to stress out to much. It'll drive you crazy lol

Lol thank you all. It's hard not to stress out though!! Hopefully we hear back soon for those of us who are still waiting!

I applied on October 2nd and received the OPUS account email on October 12th. I still have a few missing prerequisites that I'm currently taking or planning on taking in the Spring of 2016. Still waiting for an answer of my application and growing anxious each day...

do any of you accepted / wait listed applicants mind sharing your GPA and GRE scores? Just trying to get a feel for how I stand up! :)

Hello! I was admitted on Oct. 22nd for the ASBN + MSN (adult/gero) program. I submitted my application on Oct. 14th I believe? What track is everyone else in? And as you can tell, I'm from Seattle, which brings me to the question of whether there will be any other transplants? :)

Stats: BS in Biology, 3.25 for undergrad and 3.9 for post-bac pre-req courses

GRE: 157R, 153Q, 4.5W

Good luck to everyone that is still waiting!

Good morning, I wanted to say thank you to the many people who have shared their stats, experience and their application and acceptance notification dates. This helps not only the people applying during this round, but also those who will apply or are thinking of applying in future years. Without people sharing, it is really tough if not impossible to find this information. Regardless of being accepted, it helps people to know where they might stand. Even if it can be disappointing at times, knowing is better than not knowing and helps people to start to accept the situation. Thank you again all and have a great day!

I got accepted !!!!! Literally Im so freaking EXCITED !!

Congratulations! I am smiling for you! Do you mind sharing your stats/experience? Enjoy your day/night .... now you can relax :)

Yay! Congrats :)

Undergrad GPA :3.2 (I graduate in Spring 2016) Prerequisite GPA: 3.7-3.8 estimate

GRE: 302 combine . Honestly dont remember the individual score Writing 3.5 . I think I have to retake it . And experience are I worked on Maternal Health in Haiti as a Medical Assistan . I am a Public Health Intern for a PPD org. I also worked in DV orgs and did research on advanced maternal age .

Thank you! You sound fantastic... it's understandable why you were chosen. I hope you can go celebrate now :nurse: !
