Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 Program

Published

Hi everyone,

I thought I would get a thread started for the Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 application cycle. I am going to the information session next Friday, July 24th for the program.

Has anyone else started to get ready for this application cycle?

I thought you only need to take the GRE if your undergrad GPA is less than 3.5. Mine is 3.54 and I indicated I am not gonna be taking the GRE

Yeah I'm applying. I had aN UNDERGRAD GPA of 3.5, so I didn't take the GRE. I hope it works out;)

Hello, I was recently accepted into the 2017 BSN/MSN cycle and wanted to see if there were any students in the program currently on this thread that could provide some insight about the program. I was accepted for the FNP and Midwifery track. Thank you, any information is greatly appreciated :)!

For those of you that did not get scholarships, do you mind telling me how you were able to fund the program? It is scary taking out such a huge amount of private loans.

Hello All. I was just accepted to Emory’s ABSN+MSN starting in 2020 and am hoping to get some feedback from students who have completed the program. Admitted students day isn’t until February and I live in lower Alabama, so it’s hard to come before. Please let me know of any issues that may have arisen for you. I am specifically interested in the transition between the ABSN and MSN. If you are in good academic standing, can you immediately continue the full time coursework without trouble? Or is there a mandatory break and reapplication of some sort?

Feel free to send me a message. I graduated in May from the dual program (ABSN+ MSN) and am working now.
