embassy interview thursday

hi folks

just thought i would say, i ill not be online for a few days as im off to london for my interview which is at 10am on thursday.

5 hours in the car with a fractured bum bone- yes i fell down the stairs on sunday and fractured it, i have to be honest its probably the worse pain i have ever felt

mind you, at least it takes my mind off the stress

will let you all know how i go

Just caught up with this Claire - half term kept me away from the computer. I'm so sorry & truly can't understand what has gone wrong. however, if it's just a matter of a document then I'm sure it won't put you back that much.

claire i am hoffified by ur embassy experience why was this not picked up by the agents lawyer?:angryfire they are failing in so many ways its now become a farce. What exactly was wrong and have you had your interview re scheduled please tell me yes.

we do not need to have another interview thankfully as it was an administration error on one of our documents

to be fair to my agent they have been quite good today about keeping in contact with me and getting legal input straight away, their lawyers were as shocked as we were.

sometimes things are sent to try us, when we get our visa it should be all the sweeter.

I just thought i should say that i know a few of you have been really worried by what has happened to me.

what has happened is individual to me and highly unusual, there are special circumstances around what has happened which are private and i dont want to discuss on a forum.

No individual is at fault here, its just one of those things, with just a bit of tweaking by my agents lawyers should be sorted out.

Hopefully the christmas turkey i eat will be of american origin :lol2:

I have a feeling you'll be here soon to enjoy the beautiful winter weather. The only down side is the electric shocks I get as the weather gets dryer and dryer. I will tell you a funny story, when we moved here everything we touched in the house gave us a massive electric shock-so we phoned the landlord in desperation thinking there was a massive problem with the electricity circuits, he lives out od state and contacted the builders who in turn told him that everybody gets these kind of shocks because of dryness. So buy a humidifier if you have these shocks because they are bloody painful lol.

Especially if your B**b touches someting

I think it's very decent of you to post this. I assumed the problem was something private, and of course you don't want the world and its mother knowing your personal business, I wouldn't either. But to take the time to reassure others when you're going through such turmoil deserves :bow:

my flaming boobs are always banging into something, they have a life of their own!!!!

thanks Tina, the thing is, i wouldnt want to upset anyone by misleading them into thinking this could happen to them, its extremely unlikely, it was very difficult to foresee what happened but hopefully it will be resolved soon, all the parties involved are working towards that
