i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

Ok, what's the deal with pharm & patho?

I'm taking both Patho and Pharm right now and they require alot of work. I really like Pharm but I think that's because I have a really good teacher. She gives you homework questions that really helps you understand everything.

I'm struggling through Patho because there is so much info and I'm having a hard time narrowing it down. The class avg. is 76. I would recommend that you avoid the online option and take the actual class. That's just my humble opinion though.

That's what I was trying to figure out, Fun. I saw a flyer that said Pharm and Patho will be part of the prerequisites starting Fall '06 so I am guess the people that apply in February will have to have Pharm and Patho???? I'm really not sure so I was asking everyone else if they had heard the same thing. A friend of mine told me it was just for the allied health programs - not for nursing....but I still don't know lol.

I looked at it once, and *I think* those were classes that you got points for if they were taken. (Of course, I could be just thinking about BHC's program.) :chuckle

There is a big pharmacology test 2. semester isn't there?

Since I have the pharma book and study guide from the 1. semester book box I am thinking about studying pharma by myself this summer.

Yeah - I hear it's pretty big. Something like 150 drugs??? I'm not sure but I think that's the number I heard.

I take test 4 at 0700 :uhoh21: I am focusing more on that right now and I will look at summer courses tomorrow when I am done with the test. :uhoh3:

Oh yeah, I've heard about that.

...Something like 150 drugs you have to learn everything about, but the test only has about 20 questions. It may be different now.

Why do you have the test at 0700. We always start around 0900.

We can sign up to take our tests anytime and I just want to get it over with. I'm glad it's over!! I got a 90 on test 4 which is okay and I'll deal with that grade and be fine with it....it puts me out of getting an A in the class unless I make like a 100 on the next 2 exams lol which is nearly impossible...that stupid test 2!!!!! At this point I am jumping up and down for a B! ;)

Good luck to the rest of you about to take test 4!!!
