congratulations latrice!!!!!!!!!!!! wahoo!!!!!!!

so what does that mean? are you eligible to take the nclex now? do you have to take the hesi before you graduate? i'm just a little confused on the whole process.

LOL I know, it can be confusing at times.

I actually took the Hesi exam on Friday. I passed, so I am now eligible to take NCLEX.

Hesi is the exit exam. The program requires that you pass with an 85% or higher to graduate. You are given two chances. If you are unsuccessful, you have to repeat the fourth semester.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Is this a standard everywhere or just at your school? Oh and thanks for the packets--they are great!

Specializes in Operating Room.

I think I was sent the packets already. Are they the ones that have all of the meds that are close to each other, or is it more?

I got a study guide that classifies a lot of the main drugs and tells their uses and actions. I think I'll study on it and when I gey to Pharmacology lecture, I'll be that much ahead. :coollook:

It really depends on the school. I've seen some schools in the area that don't take the test at all. I've seen others that just take it as a diagnostic tool, and others that have to make even higher than an 85%.

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has received their official schedules. I had in my notes that ***** said she would be sending them out the week of December 19th. My job is really breathing down my neck about my schedule and I told them I would have it this week. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard this as well??

Thank you :)

Allison

I also thought we would be receiving it before the holiday break. I haven't received anything either and my husband is breathing down my neck about the exact schedule. I wonder if we could get through to her on the phone to see about it.

Hey Ya'll, I haven't posted in a while, but I still check in to see what's up. I still haven't received my book "box" or uniforms. I was wondering if anyone has heard any news? I finally received my updated schedule for the semester on Tuesday.

Is anyone attending the course offered called "Keys to Success"? I registered to attend Jan 3/4, and then today I received a brochure with totally different dates on it!!! Since the campus is closed until Jan 3, I guess I'll have to show up and find out which date is correct.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I can't wait to get going!!!!! See ya!

I haven't received my book box but I have received my uniforms. I will be going to the "Keys to Success" class on the 7th and 14th. Not too happy about it being on a Saturday but that days works out for me. I did receive the updated schedule too. Not sure what is going on with the books though. I was told it was suppose to come on the 12th and then said something was happening and was suppose to come in last Tuesday or Wed. but still nothing. Hopefully it will come in soon before the semester starts. I also receive that brochure for the keys to success but my days are still the same. Good luck!!
